PORT ORANGE, FL - May 18,2017 – Atlantic High school will be holding a chorus concert which will have a theme somewhat like “The Voice.” A well-known and popular television show which has multiple vocalists who go against each other to see whose voice is more superior than the other. This gives students exposure and experience of competition between one another.
The showcase will be held in the school’s theater on May 18, 2017 beginning at 6:30p.m., and ending close to around 8:00p.m. If you are an Atlantic High School student who is in the chorus and would like to be a part of the showcase, auditions will be Friday, May 5, 2017. All acts report to Ms. Morrow’s room if interested. Ms. Morrow, the chorus teacher, will be instructing the whole performance throughout the evening.
As an addition to having the theme of The Voice, there will be a handful of selected judges who will be voting on the performances as well as having assistance in the overall decision by the audience’s opinions also.
Performances include solos and/or duets by the students who attend Atlantic High School. The winners will be decided towards the end of the night.
