DSC Dual Enrollment

DAYTONA STATE COLLEGE
1)  On AHS Campus
    At this time Atlantic High School offers 2 courses taught on our campus:
    ~SLS1122 Dynamics of Student Success
    ~SLS2301 Career Development

    Requirements for enrollment
        a)    The student must be enrolled in the Volusia County School District.
        b)    Students in grades 10 – 12 are eligible to participate in the Dual                                     Enrollment Program.
        c)    The student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
        d)  The student must have an FCAT reading score of 3 or higher, or a score on                    the PERT (Post Education Readiness Test) of 84 + reading and 90+ writing
2)  Daytona State Main Campus
Requirements for enrollment
    a)    The student must be enrolled in the Volusia County School District.
    b)    Students in grades 10 – 12 are eligible to participate in the Dual Enrollment             Program.
    c)    The student must be recommended by their high school counselor, principal,             or designee.  The high school does reserve the right to deny a request for                     Dual EnrollmenT based on academic and attendance records, which may                         indicate the student would not be successful with the program.  
    d)  GPA of 3.0 for A. A. degree courses or  GPA of 2.0 for vocational certificate                    programs
    e)   Meet testing requirements  (chart listed below)
